These little wrens were rendered in watercolor and gouache, on hand made cottage rag paper. Multiple layers were delicately applied to bring out the details. A hint of silver pigment is in the water, and a hint of gold was used for the wren highlights. The edges have a natural, decked edge. It measures 2 1/8” x 3 1/8”.

I would recommend framing it in a floating style frame, so the lovely edges remain visible.
